Definition of a Truly Mobile Job

For some people, the ability to have a mobile job is crucial to reaching success. When I talk about job mobility, I’m talking about a job that is not limited by two things:

  1. Time – Many jobs require that we have set schedules that are determined by someone else. The ability to choose when and how long you work can free you to spend more time with family and friends.
  2. Space – Many jobs also require that you remain at one location or specified locations to accomplish certain tasks. The ability to choose where you work can free you to be closer to those places that are important to you.

Time and space. Time and space. Time and space. It might sound a bit sci-fi, but having a job that is not limited to these dimensions can help you get more done and allow you to live your dream.

What would your mobile job look like? What do you enjoy doing in your free time? Keep in mind that you ultimate work for yourself and you can make decisions today to find a mobile occupation.

I believe that humans are creatures of habit. If we continue to do the same things over and over again we will get the same results. Mix it up, and try something new. Change can be uncomfortable at first, but change is inevitable anyway – so why not get started?

What is your dream mobile job? How are you going to get there?
