Diligence Wins

by John on May 24, 2010

Have you ever tried something that failed? We all have. Those times can bring a lot of disappointment, but if we remain diligent, everything can change.

Try again. Try again. Try again.

I remember when my dream of starting an online business first started welling up inside of me. I was desperate for something new, desperate for something daring, desperate for something DIFFERENT.

I wasn’t sure what it would turn out to be, but I wanted something that would be mobile and fulfilling. After several failed attempts, The Christian Dollar started taking root.

God rewards diligence. I’ve seen it in my life and the lives of others. Whatever you do, don’t lose the dream. The dream will propel you forward.

Climb. Climb. Climb.

If you’re wanting to reach the top of the mountain, you’re going to have to work hard. Don’t believe the get-rich-quick schemes that are out there. Financial success comes from hard work and diligence. Period. You aren’t going to make it if you do nothing. You’re going to have to work hard.

Blunt, but true. Amen?

The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty. -Proverbs 21:5 NIV
