Easter Thoughts: Power Over The Grave

by John on April 4, 2010

Every Easter I am reminded of how amazing God is.

God died for us. For you. For me.

God rose again. For you. For me.

Think about that for a moment. Jesus had power over the grave. Don’t you think that he therefore has power over your life, your finances, your relationships, your problems, and your insecurities?

God can change everything. Don’t forget that! Be strong and know that God is with you. It’s only a matter of time before we won’t have to worry about life’s troubles. Finance won’t mean much when we’re with our Father in Heaven.

Keep it in perspective! God is great!

Finally the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went inside. He saw and believed. -John 20:8

This is good stuff. Great perspective to remember that God is powerful and that he is good even in regards to our finances. It’s relieving. Thanks.

Great post! My prayer for every non-believer is for them to realize how real the resurrection is and how it can transform your life. It actually happened and is such a great comfort to those who believe. Just read the accounts given by Paul and the apostles. They died for what they knew to be true and that truth is just as valid today, we just must have faith.
