The Christian Dollar Update: May 2010

by John on May 19, 2010

Readers and Fellow Bloggers:

Things are going great here at The Christian Dollar. More people are writing in, commenting, and interacting with the blog.

You may have just heard that I’ll soon be writing for Bible Money Matters. I’m looking forward to it!

I want to take a moment to discuss ads. I recently signed up for Google Adsense and will be having ads run on the sidebar of The Christian Dollar. My goal is to implement ads that are true to the mission of The Christian Dollar and relevant to you. Inevitably, there might be a few ads that don’t seem to jive with the content of this website. In those cases, PLEASE LET ME KNOW. I have the ability to block ads from running if they are offensive or not relevant.

Ads help me pay the bills. While I love blogging about personal finance and would do so whether I was paid or not, it does take time. The more income I can generate, the more time I can dedicate. I appreciate your understanding.

The greatest reward of writing for The Christian Dollar has been the friends I’ve met. You guys are awesome. I really feel like the blogging community has lifted me up, and for that I am eternally grateful.

Feeling encouraged,

John
