It’s hot over here at The Christian Dollar. Seriously, the temperature is rather warm. This Oregon weather is really a drain on productivity! But with fans (the mechanical kind, not the people kind) in nearly every corner of the house, we’re hanging in there. How about you?
Today I’d like to give you an update on what is happening over here at The Christian Dollar. I just changed the rules for guest posting and becoming a contributor (see the bottom of that page).
Mostly, the changes are AWESOME. I’ll just highlight a few of the changes here. If you want to learn more, click one of those links above. 
New Contributor Benefits
All contributors can now write UNLIMITED articles on The Christian Dollar. The first article submitted now receives first priority for publication. This is a huge benefit over many other sites, that limit how many articles you can write in a given week, month, etc. The more articles you write, the more traffic and exposure you get!
Contributors are still volunteers, but now there’s an awesome contest: whoever writes the most popular article of the month (judged by unique page views) will receive a $25 Amazon.com gift card. It’s just a little perk and my way of saying “Thank You” for their hard work.
New contributors will also be introduced in a post on The Christian Dollar to let readers get to know them. I expect several new contributors in the next few months.

Guest Posting Update
I have received some great guest posting articles over the past year. So, I’ve decided to keep that opportunity open and allow more people (like yourself) to send a guest post. Guest posters also have the advantage of being better considered for a position as a contributor, a status that allows them to link within their articles and get more traffic back to their website.
