So you want to write for The Christian Dollar? Please do! We can’t guarantee that your article will make it onto the site, but we can promise we’ll look it over.

Requirements for articles:

1. Must demonstrate a strong grip on the English language both in the article and email request.
2. Must be between 500 and 1,000 words in length.
3. You must be an owner or contributor of a website/blog and provide the URL (I must be able to find your full name on the website).
4. You must provide your first and last name.
5. The article body must not contain links back to your website. Don’t worry, you can link back to your website in your byline (see below). If you want to link back to your website, consider the steps necessary to become a contributor.
6. The articles must not use overly repetitive language for SEO purposes.
7. The article must be sent in the body of your email request (no attachments are permitted at this time, HTML is accepted and preferred).
8. The article must be brand new, never posted before on any other website or in any other publication.

Guidelines for articles:

• Writing that reflects the truth of scripture (references are excellent).
• Topics regarding life and money.
• No self-promoting content (you have the opportunity for that in the bylines).

Here’s what you get:

• A two-sentence byline indicating your name and website (with one link back to your website). Example: This article was written by John Frainee, creator of TheChristianDollar.com. John loves destroying debt and enjoys writing.
• Attention to your website and the opportunity to meet other writers and readers!

Here’s how to do it:

• Send your email request to thechristiandollar [at] gmail.com in a standard email format (no attachments).
• Please include your full name, website URL, and purpose in writing on The Christian Dollar.
• Please be patient as we review your article.

We have a right to:

• Accept or reject your article with or without notice.
• Edit your article for readability (if your article is edited, you will be informed of the changes made and we will wait for approval from you before posting).
