Avoid Phishing Scams and Protect Your Money!

Phishing scams are rampant on the internet. What are they? It is a type of fraud that involves sending you an email asking you to update your personal information on a website. A link within the email sends you to a fake website that is designed to look like your bank’s website (or other legitimate site). After you give them your username and password, it’s all downhill from there. Your identity can be stolen and you can lose a lot of money.
